"Three Meters Deep" is a 16"x16" oil on canvas painting showing a Loggerhead Sea Turtle swimming near the surface of the water on a sunny day with the rays reflecting into the water from above. These beautiful creatures nest along the Southeastern coast of the Untied States as well as in the Caribbean Sea and on both sides of the Atlantic and in the Mediterranean Sea and parts of the Indian Ocean and Pacific Oceans too. The total estimated number of Loggerheads today is around 50,000 whereas the species once numbered several million in the world's oceans.
