RIP Flying Fortress
"RIP Flying Fortress" is an 18”x24” oil on canvas depiction of a B-17 Flying Fortress I painted for Veteran’s Day as a tribute to my father who was a USAAF Navigator on a B-17 in World War II. The Fortress is shown on a field like they flew from in England as the sun rises behind it and clouds are lit up from the sun.
